Join us at the Supermarket for an afternoon of artistic experimentation and fun for our new Kids n’ Crafts series. Perfect for children ages 8 years and up. Led by artist and baker Daisy from Atlanta’s very own Pastry Plug, kids will be creating a decoden jewelry box to take home. Decoden is a Japanese craft that involves elevating everyday objects into whimsical accessories using fake icing! Kids and guardians will learn basic cake decorating piping skills so that they can create their own jewelry boxes in the likeness of a cute cake.
Daisy will provide step-by-step guidance and all materials needed. Adults are included in the ticket price. Parents must stay with their kids for the entirety of the workshop.
Find us:
1) The Supermarket's main entrance is located at 638 N Highland Ave NE. Our door is in between Big Softie and Collette Bakeshop leading you down a hallway and a staircase.
2) Need less stairs? Have a stroller or use a walking aid? Use our secondary entrance in the middle of Otto's parking lot. The decorative black metal gate leads you through a courtyard. (Note: this door is currently open until 7pm then becomes an exit only.)
3) Need a fully accessible entrance without any stairs? We have a back entrance in a public alleyway behind the building. You can enter the alley off of North Ave NE or from Otto's parking lot. Our entrance is the white door at the SW corner of the building.
Note: While we don't have dedicated parking there are plenty of options in the area. See our map for more info
