Printmaking for Palestine: Community Printmaking Workshop

  • The Bakery Atlanta's South Downtown Art Gallery 92 Peachtree Street Southwest Atlanta, GA, 30303 United States (map)

Whether it’s your first time printing or you’re an established printmaker, community members of all levels are welcomed to join the Printmaking for Palestine workshop where each participant will create a 4x6in linoleum block used as part of a bigger community print.

During the workshop, taught by Jasmin Warnock, we will go over different relief printmaking techniques, reflect on different symbolism and imagery used for palestinian protest, create and ideate our own individual 4x6 prints following this theme, and print a community block together!

In support of a Free Palestine and call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, all proceeds from the completed and sold community print will be donated to the UN Crisis Relief fund. These prints will be available for purchase after the workshop via @warnockart 's instagram and website. All printmaking materials will be provided, but we encourage folks to bring additional materials if they have them.
