Everyone is an Artist: The Bakery's activation at Mystic District Marketplace

The Bakery was invited to host an activation at the fifth annual Mystic District Marketplace, an immersive DIY night market, on April 23, 2022. Presented by Frankie & Marley Productions, the event hosted 40+ vendors, live performances, and interactive art installations. With live music, drag performances, fire and burlesque shows, this was a night we won’t forget.

Throughout the night, Bakery team members invited attendees to paint on a community canvas, ending in a beautiful, collaborative, one-of-a-kind art piece! We also transformed lamps, small ceramic items, and even made a few sock puppets! At the Bakery, we believe that art should be fun and accessible, and we hope to bring out the artist in everyone.

“This show is created for Atlanta to celebrate up and coming artists, established artists and the DIY arts community as a whole. There’s a huge emphasis on individuality and non-conformism. It’s become one of the most anticipated events of the spring season,” Naki, co-founder of Frankie & Marley Productions, said to the AJC.
