Join Prada U, Sweetie and The Bakery as we transition into 2021 with new dreams. No matter where we are in life, we all have intentions, goals, and ambitions. Humanity is bound by hope and we understand the importance of dreaming big. This exhibition will allow Atlanta artists to reflect on the past and, in the process, propel them towards the future.

Your Dream World: An Atlanta Vision Board was curated via an open call for dreamers and visual artists alike. This exhibit features a vision board style collaborative mural in which each artist has imagined their dream world and brought it to life on the gallery walls at The Bakery’s new South Downtown space.

Featured artists include: Laura Bejarano, Reinilda Blair, Cathryn Bozone, Forrest Camardella, Armando Chacon, Gary The Destroyer, Jacqueline Dorage, Magda  Dumitrescu, Megan Flanigan, Leilah Isaacs (Psylo), Lydia James, Samiyah Malik, Kenya Nelson (Bleu), and Toko Tokani.

“In my dream world, I don’t see labor as a means of survival. I see peace and calmness. Everyone is able to enjoy forbidden fruit without fear of repercussions. I want to portray what I think the earth would look like if we only saw a person’s soul or aura. My dream world feels like the first time you heard your favorite song, all the time.” - Kenya Nelson (Bleu)

Your Dream World: An Atlanta Vision Board will be on view February 25th - 28th via donation-based timed tickets in order to limit the number of guests in the gallery. All funds raised will help support the Bakery’s new Studio Residency Program in East Point. Tickets can be reserved here or at www.thebakeryatlanta.com. This show is facilitated by Prada U, Sweetie and The Bakery.
