The Bakery Atlanta is proud to present latinx art exhibition, Viva La Vitalidad, curated by Macyn Monegain.
This show is curated to highlight the long-standing traditions and vibrancy that is intertwined with what is often synonymous with Hispanic culture. Whether that yields from vibrant meals full of limón, chiles, and tajin to the long-standing rituals with crowds of people such as Dia de Los Muertos. Hispanic cultures ranging from Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Colombia all house specific ceremonies, foods, and patterns that have continued to not only make a mark in households; yet, influence how we, as the public, view these cultures alike.
Please join us for the opening reception on Wednesday, November 6th from 6 to 10 PM. Pay what you can tickets are $5 to $25. This exhibition will be on view to the public November 6th through November 10th during gallery hours, 12pm to 5pm, and during additional programming. Please view calendar.
