Encaustic Painting with Janelle Dunlap

  • The Supermarket 638 North Highland Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

Join Janelle Dunlap for an immersive Encaustic Painting Workshop at The Bakery Atlanta on Saturday, September 28, 2024! Janelle, an encaustic artist and beekeeper, brings a unique perspective to this ancient art form, using locally sourced beeswax from her hives at Georgia Tech’s Kendeda Building, where she serves as the inaugural resident beekeeper for the Georgia Tech Urban Honeybee Project. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of encaustic painting and how to convert this incredible natural medium into art. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a beginner, this workshop offers a chance to explore the beauty and versatility of beeswax in art-making!
