Dust to Dollars: A Bakery Fundraiser Event

  • The Supermarket 638 North Highland Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

The Bakery acquired dozens of fading, old artwork that originally hung in the historic Highland Inn in Poncey-Highland. Dust to Dollars will be a collaboration between 20 contemporary Atlanta artists and the vintage art. The artists, curated by The Bakery, will revive the work in their own style. The exhibition diverts pieces from the landfill while honoring The Bakery’s seven years of creating experimentation arts opportunities through their DIY ethos.

Dust to Dollars will be on view October 18th through October 21st with an opening reception on Thursday, October 18th,  from 6 pm to 9 pm. The exhibition will take place at The Supermarket, our venue partner, located at 683 North Highland Avenue NE in Atlanta, Georgia.  Gallery hours are 12 pm to 5pm Thursday and Friday, 1 pm - 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. While tickets are no longer required, we appreciate your support via donations, either via https://thebakeryatlanta.com/donate or direct tickets via Eventbrite.

This upcycled art show is part of our year end fundraising campaign, aiming to raise $10,000 towards our ongoing GoFundMe efforts. This show is also a celebration of our new home, The Supermarket, where we are proud to be the anchor tenant and programming partner. The Bakery will keep 100% of the profits form artworks sold.
