Drum Machines 101

Join The Bakery Atlanta with artists Aaron Artrip and Imp at The Supermarket for Drum Machines 101 on Sunday, 7/14 from 3pm-5pm. Attendees will learn about a variety of drum machines available from popular manufacturers like Korg, Roland, Elektron, and Teenage Engineering.

The session will include a brief introduction to several types of drum machines, their pros/cons, performance features, and practical tips for use. The session will conclude with an opportunity for participants to demo the drum machines provided by the artists, meet other drum machine enthusiasts, and share in the beauty of handmade beats.

Participants are encouraged to bring a set of wired headphones and their own drum machine(s) if available. No experience is needed. All are welcome!

Directions:

The entrance is through the black door located to the left of Colette Bread and Bakeshop. This door has a plaque that reads "638 The Supermarket" - this door leads you down a hallway and down a staircase to the space. Need an accessible entrance? We're happy to help!
