Community Calendar

There's something cooking at The Bakery every week!

We're currently home to a number of fun and engaging regular programming that includes DIY music and art events, community group hosted forums, yoga, and more!

If you’re interested in hosting a workshop that benefits creatives here in Atlanta, send us an email to hello@thebakeryatlanta.com and say hi!

DIY Music + Art

We host DIY music shows and art events regularly. The Bakery is dedicated to bringing a space of accessibility for artists and surrounding community members with multiple music venues and an art gallery inside the warehouse.

If you would like to host a show or some other kind of fun + freaky event, reach out to us! We'd love to help you have a space to present your ideas and work!

Community Engagement

The Bakery is home to a number of grassroots community-oriented groups, including the Plasma Magazine, a local resource for all things creative in Atlanta, and Streetcat.media, who develops and hosts programming on topics that range from workforce skill development to developing social systems of economic dependence that are community, and not capitalistically, oriented.

If you or a community group that you're involved in needs space for a meeting, workshop, or event, contact us to see how we can help you foster a space for your community impact project.

Yoga x Meditation

A collective of Atlanta-based teachers will be leading classes accessible to both the beginner and experienced yogi in a variety of styles. Whether you want to give yoga a shot but don't know how, or you're a veteran practitioner looking for community, we hope to create a space for all.

Classes will be offered weekly on Sundays at 1pm. To attend, please bring a mat, water, and any supporting props you desire. Our drop-in rate is a suggested $10 donation.

Art Classes

Learn the basics of drawing, photography, building websites, and more with art classes offered at The Bakery!

Starting in Spring 2018, we will be offering a number of regularly occurring classes that include: life drawing sessions, DSLR photography (manual uses, lighting, +more), tie dye for cotton-based fiber textiles, knitting, and much more! We are currently looking for art class teachers, so if you'd like to teach a class, please email hello@thebakeryatlanta.com and introduce yourself and your class idea.

Public Art Initiative

Pillyr will be installing a number of their public art sculptures on the grounds of The Bakery. We're really excited about this and the future collaboration opportunities that will come with having Pillyr come to be a part of The Bakery community!

Get involved in our Public Art Initiative by signing up for our newsletter to stay up to date with opportunities to help us build public art around The Bakery!

Unicorn Pantry

The Bakery is delivering a fantasy-filled, donation-based thrifting closet and coffee shop! All donations from this shop will be allocated for free + low-cost skill development workshops that will be offered by The Bakery in Summer 2018!
