Wood Shop Safety Basics

learn the basics of how to safely dress and operate basic tools in a wood shop at this introductory class at the cut cake factory!

led by fabricators Streetcat.media + John Cable, this workshop will cover topics such as:
✨ what PPE is + why you should care about it
✨ how to safely handle powered hand tools
✨ how to safely operate some of the powered saws in the shop, focusing mainly on the miter saw
✨ proper material handling and storage
✨ prototyping crazy projects
