Super Chill Wood Carving with Eddie, vol. 6

  • The Bakery Atlanta 825 Warner Street Southwest Atlanta, GA, 30310 United States (map)

Interested in picking up carving but want to try it before you drop some $$$ on a set of knives?

Then you should come chill with cut cake factory's own resident recluse ~ Eddie Farr ~ for a hangout session where he talks about the basics of wood carving and does some carving of his own.

He can answers questions on:
+ knife safety and care
+ selecting wood for carving (green and kiln dried)
+ basic shaping
+ food safe finishes.

We will have some wood and tools available for use, even some knives for sale if you find you're enjoying yourself, but feel free to bring your own tools and wood!

Super chill wood carving happens on the front porch of The Bakery! Suggested donation is $5-10

***Please note this is not a structured class. There will be a few sets of knives available on a first come first serve basis for use. Comment below to reserve a knife. ***
