💖 Welcome to the Bakie Makeyspace! 💖 A pop-up holiday crafting experience for the Atlanta community. The Makeyspace! launch party will be at The Bakery on Sunday, November 25 from 2 to 6pm and will be open to the public for donation-based holiday crafting until December 23.
Our mission for the makeyspace is to provide the tools, materials, and expertise of volunteers to teach people how to make fun crafts in a safe + engaging environment.

We want you to feel empowered in our space of making! If you’d like to learn how to use any of our tools, feel free to stop by during open hours or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We’d love to get you making! All our materials and tools will be available for public crafting use — just donate cash or venmo us for what you use!

What’s in the Makeyspace!?
Our screen printing station contains all the tools you’ll need to print a series of tee shirts, tote bags, and more! Equipped with a multi-station printing press, oversized exposure unit, and other tools, you have access to all the production tools to get the job done.
Stocked with donated materials that are great for sewing, knitting, tie dyeing, and more — you can make your dream fiber arts project come true at the Makeyspace! We have a sewing machine and other sewing accessories for you to use.
Interested in learning the basics of electronics, like soldering, or figuring out how to build a simple circuit, like a lamp? Check out the electronics bench and investigate some of the possibilities of electronics projects that you can explore.

The Bakie Makeyspace! is looking for volunteers, donated tools, and crafting materials for the public to use for holiday crafting! We’re looking for creative tools and materials for screen printing, fiber crafting, and electronics — and if you have any extra creative tools outside of these categories that you’d like to donate or loan-ate, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate things.
